Blues Cruise 4 a Cure Set for April 30th

Motorcycle enthusiasts are invited to participate in the first "Blues Cruise 4 a Cure" poker run to benefit the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life of Douglas County on Saturday, April 30, beginning and ending at CPA Park in downtown Eudora, 9th and Main St. Registration is from 9 to 11 a.m., with kickstands up at 11:30 a.m.

After the ride, the popular Blues band "Klear Ambition" will perform along with other local blues artists.

The ride will be led by Michael Bergen's Hands to Heart and Eudora Mayor Scott Hopson. Stops on the poker run include Slow Ride Roadhouse, Lawrence; Hellen's Hilltop, Tonganoxie; Kobi's, Bonner Springs; Beer Thirty, DeSoto; and Cecil Monday's, Eudora.

The ride will be followed by live music, beer garden, dinner, prizes, live auction, 50/50 drawing, and best and worst hands winner announcements. Food will include Werner's grilled Italian, Polish and Knackwurst sausages, and Sabrina's famous breakfast burritos. Motorcycle industry product vendors will be onsite as well.
