Progress Update

It's been over two weeks since my last post and I'm as sore as ever. We're in the latter part of week three of Phase 2. The intensity level has escalated, which has made the workouts even more strenuous. My chest muscles have tightened and my upper arms are getting bigger. Thanks to all the variations of those P90X "push ups"! I haven't dropped as much weight, but clothes are becoming more loose. The last two days have done a serious number on me! I had to miss Monday, but thanks to Gene (sarcasm intended), he set me up with an IPOD that had the workout on it for me. It felt weird to workout in the late afternoon, and alone, but I was able to push through and improved on my numbers/ lifts. Tuesday and Wednesday weren't any easier. Truly didn't want to go, but after each workout, I was glad that I went and persevered through it. It hit me earlier this morning that this program is almost over. Without sounding corny or masochistic, I'm sure I will miss it and will quickly be looking for some other program to begin. Haven't hit my personal goal(s) that I set yet, but I'm well on my way.
