Bridge Haven Brings the Day Spa to Residents

Bridge Haven assisted living community hosted its first-ever Spa Day to pamper residents and promote relaxation and wellness. In the privacy of their Bridge Haven home, residents enjoyed gentle neck, shoulder, head and hand massages by an experienced licensed massage therapist. In addition to massages, experienced caregivers administered skin softening yogurt masks. Bridge Haven’s resident RN was first in line to get a facial to make sure the cucumbers delivered their promised anti-aging results. Staff prepared a special luncheon for participating residents, complete with finger sandwiches, fruit salad, lemon bars and brownies. After a refreshing tasty meal, it was time for nails. Manicurists offered ladies and gentlemen their choice for bare-buffed or polished nails. Those who selected polish had a choice from more than a dozen salon inspired colors. The event organizer, Bridge Haven's Associate Director Sarah Randolph said, "A spa day is a perfect way to reduce stress, relax and have fun together."
