Bring your favorite little person and wear comfortable shoes for a beautiful walk at the University of Kansas Field Station. The path has been toddler tested by Bella (Charlie Bryan's 2 year old daughter) and Kennedy (Joseph Fowler's 20 month old daughter).

Plan to arrive at 9:30 a.m. to hike with your tyke at your own pace. All dads are welcome, especially expectant dads, new dads, adoptive dads, grandfathers, or any significant male caregiver of a child under the age of 5 years. This is a time to stay and play with your child as long as your child is happy.

Meet at Rockefeller Prairie Trail Head, located along 1st Street just before it intersects with Wild Horse Road. For a Google map to the specific location, go to If you are using a GPS, you might be directed to take US-59 North rather than US-24 East. The markers for the KU Field Station are along the US-24 East route.
