Local environmental fund taking grant applications

Are you working on a Douglas County nonprofit project with an environmental angle?

The Elizabeth Schultz Environmental Fund is now taking applications. The deadline is October 1, so you have plenty of time to flesh out your idea.

The fund supports a wide variety of local efforts to preserve and understand nature. Projects may address the fund’s goals in scientific, cultural, educational, aesthetic or economic ways.

You can read about last year's awardees here.
