The Douglas County Dental Clinic will be hosting the 4th annual Open Wider golf tournament on Friday April 29, 2011 at Alvamar Golf Club in Lawrence, Kansas.

This year's guest of honor is KU basketball's very own Bud Stallworth and proceeds from the fundraiser will help provide reduced cost dental services to low-income, uninsured residents of Douglas County.

The Douglas County Dental Clinic is a nonprofit community clinic which provides emergency, preventive, and restorative dental care to low-income, uninsured residents of Douglas County and those with HealthWave or Kansas Medicaid. DCDC serves individuals who are at or below 200% of the federal poverty level. Last year DCDC had more than 6,000 patient visits and roughly half of our patients are children.
