Five Guys Burgers & Fries and Delta Lambda Phi team up to support the Douglas County Dental Clinic

KU's Delta Lambda Phi fraternity and Five Guys Burgers & Fries (2040 West 31st St #B in Lawrence) teamed up on February 12, 2011 to raise money for the Douglas County Dental Clinic. The event helped raise almost $950 for the clinic and executive director, Julie Branstrom, deemed the fundraiser a great success!

Five Guys owners Mike and Holly Ritchie have invited the dental clinic to hold another fundraiser in the future and we are extremely grateful for their support in helping us serve the low-income, uninsured population of Douglas County!

Hi pigballin! Thank you for the comment. There are a few options for residents living in Johnson County.

Johnson County Community College has a hygiene program and they offer cleanings and I believe dental exams for $10-$20. It takes a bit longer than a normal cleaning at a dental office would because it's a hygiene student performing the cleaning, but the price definitely can't be beat. Their phone number is 913-469-3808.

Another option in Johnson County is the Health Partnership Clinic of Johnson County. I'm a little less familiar with them, but their dental clinic can be reached at 913-393-9918.
