The Douglas County Dental Clinic recently won a $2500 grant from the Delta Dental of Kansas Foundation to use social media (YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) to promote good oral health habits. The grant also provided for video equipment to create oral health public service announcements that will be distributed online to the general public and to other safety net dental clinics and nonprofit dental organizations via DVD.
