$2500 Grant Helps Douglas County Dental Clinic Promote Good Oral Health Habits

The Douglas County Dental Clinic recently won a $2500 grant from the Delta Dental of Kansas Foundation to use social media (YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) to promote good oral health habits. The grant also provided for video equipment to create oral health public service announcements that will be distributed online to the general public and to other safety net dental clinics and nonprofit dental organizations via DVD.

The first test video using the new equipment was created yesterday and we are proud to unveil it here on WellCommons! Please tell us what you would like to see in our oral health PSAs. What oral health topics interest you the most?

Thank you Lawrence, and Douglas County, for your wonderful support in helping us win the grant by voting for us over 9,000 times!
