Breast Cancer Awareness Events at Your Clinton Parkway Hy-Vee

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month - Join Hy-Vee as we find “Minutes Count” ........

According to the American Cancer Society, someone is diagnosed with breast cancer every 3 minutes. Month-long events will begin starting October 3rd here at the Clinton Hy-Vee.

Oct. 3rd - Memory/Honor Trees Honor someone or donate in memory of someone at our Memory/Honor Trees. Trees will be in place starting October 3 through October 24. Donations will go to Susan Komen Foundation & Health Care Access.

Oct. 3rd - Drop-Off for “Bras across the Kaw” Look for the pink boxes. Drop-off sites in Lawrence; KLWN/The Lazer/The Bull; Health Care Access; both Hy-Vee stores. In Baldwin; Mr. Goodcents andSeventh Street Hair.

Oct. 13th - “Minutes Count” Time of event 4-7 p.m. Health Care Access, KLWN/The Lazer/The Bull, Susan Komen Foundation, Lawrence Memorial Breast Center plus our Hy-Vee Dietitian & Pharmacy and Seventh Street Hair. Get informed, get aware, enjoy food, pink up your hair at this event! “Bradazzle” booth for your “Bras across the Kaw”. Radio station “The Lazer” will be on site as well.

Oct. 14th - 21st - “Bras across the Kaw” Hy-Vee presents “Bras across the Kaw”. Displayed on the Kansas River bridge in downtown Lawrence. All donations collected from Memory/Honor Trees and the event on October 13 will be split between the Susan Komen Foundation and Health Care Access.
