The Douglas County community is invited to attend the United Way’s Campaign Kickoff! It’s Thursday, September 15, 5:30 to 7:00 pm at Abe & Jake’s Landing. Come celebrate the 2011 campaign and LIVE UNITED!
Free food and t-shirts will be available for the 1st 300 guests. Family fun including a mini bounce house, photo booth and disco dance lessons to dj music! . Be a part of the LIVE UNITED group photo along with KU’s Big Jay! Come see Brian Hanni with Rock Chalk Sports Talk -- the Lazer’s Beth B will be there too.
The United Way will share information about the Community Goals and Community Partner Agencies. The Pacesetter organizations will also be recognized, and the total gifts to date received from these area businesses and Leadership Givers will be announced. A goal of $1,700,000 has been set for the 2011 LIVE UNITED Campaign. The United Way urges all of us to give, advocate, volunteer and LIVE UNITED!
