You can see a live eagle website, and watch as she or he sits on the egg and eventually hatches it. This should be very entertaining for younger people, and for that matter people of all ages, to watch and listen to.
I find it personally expands my own knowledge, to be so close to Decorah Eagles.
The view and sound of the web site are personally relaxing to me. In fact, I can view and listen for a while, and feel completely refreshed.
Please view the live eagle website for yourself:

Do you remember when the Journal-World had a great web camera along the river near Lawrence? I used to watch those pictures all the time.
The director, by the way, points out that you can distinguish male and female eagles, and that they are a great team:

Please enjoy yourself. This is very relaxing for me to go to and spend time with.

The second egg just arrived at 9:06 pm Central Standard Time today, a few minutes ago, Monday Feb 20th, 2012. First time I've ever watched while an egg was hatched! These are great parents!

I hope that you are enjoying seeing these eagles as much as I do. There is a blog on the web site that anyone into eagles must look at:

I hope that some of the schools have now seen the site as well. The blog above will tell you much more about eagles and their lifestyles.

They've now had three eggs, the third one about 20 hours ago. Please check the

for a live stream. Aren't there any eagle fans in Lawrence?
Also, check the

Good watching, and please leave a comment!
