Breastfeeding support group to have Clothes Swap Wednesday at Health Department

Breast Is Best Social, or B.I.B.S., will have a Clothes Swap from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, at the Lawrence-Douglas County Health Department, 200 Maine St. There will be maternity, infant and toddler clothes and small equipment.

"Residents are welcome to bring items, but they do not have to bring items to take items," Cary Allen, breastfeeding peer counselor at the Health Department, said.

Breast Is Best Social is open to anyone who is pregnant and considering breastfeeding or is breastfeeding. The group meets at 6:30 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of each month. Moms are welcome to bring friends and family members.
