Just walking in the door of Wheatfields is a treat for the senses. Bread is my favorite food and Wheatfields has wonderful whole grain breads. A number of the breads are made from certified organic flour from a grower owned organic grain and flour company in Marienthal, Kansas. Many of the sandwiches are packed with vegetables. Whole grain mustard is a good substitute for mayonnaise on the sandwiches (or have the mayo on the side) The evening menu varies daily but broiled choices are often on the menu. If you can't resist the pastries split it with a friend.
