School Garden Workshop Coming on October 21-22

The Kansas Association for Conservation and Environmental Education is hosting a school garden workshop, Dig In to School Gardens! on Oct. 21-22 at West Middle School in Lawrence.

Nancy O’Connor, director of education and outreach at The Merc and project director of the Lawrence West Middle School, Hillcrest Elementary and Sunset Hill Elementary gardens, will be a featured speaker.

This is a fantastic opportunity for school administrators, teachers, parents, and interested community members to experience the new Kansas School Garden Curriculum and Web Resources.

If you are unable to commit to two days, you have the option of a one-day registration for a lower fee.
