Tonight author Katherine Leiner will hold a book signing of Growing Roots: The New Generation of Sustainable Farmers, Cooks and Food Activists. The signing, along with a short presentation and question and answer session will be held at 7 p.m. tonight, October 26, at Local Burger. Photographer Andrew Lipton will also be in attendance.
Leiner covers the new generation of young people concerned with sustainable foods. For the book she interviewed 150 people about their passion for healthy, sustainable foods.
