Tasty Food Fast - "Flash in a Pan"

When you’re in a rush, forget fast food. K-State Research and Extension — Douglas County is excited to offer a class on delicious, healthy food that can be prepared simply, inexpensively and, most importantly, quickly.
If you’re serious about learning to cook tasty foods fast…and you want to get your “hands into it,” then this class is for YOU!!!! Registrations are now being accepted for you to participate in the upcoming “Flash in a Pan" class being offered by the Douglas County Extension Master Food Volunteers.
During this hands-on cooking class, you will learn stir-fry techniques, sauce preparation and kniife skills, as well as create samples of dishes to test your skills. The class will meet from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, in the Culinary Commons, located in Building 21 of the Douglas County Fairgrounds, at 2110 Harper Street in Lawrence, Kansas.
The class costs $15 (scholarships are available.) Participants must be at least 16 years old, and classes must be between 10 and 25 participants.
Class registration and payment will be accepted through Wednesday, March 22nd at the K-State Research & Extension - Douglas County Office on the fairgrounds.
