Heartland Community Health Center surpasses fundraising goal, raises $89,834

HCHC Patient Stories by HCHC Lawrence

Heartland Community Health Center is pleased to announce that it surpassed its goal of $82,000 and raised $89,834.38 during its campaign, The Community Health Center Project.

With money raised from this campaign, HCHC has already begun implementing an Electronic Health Record system, which will “go-live” Jan. 9. Support from the campaign will also allow HCHC to increase pharmaceutical storage and make small improvements to the clinic to increase patient safety, privacy and security.

Kansas does not require children to wear helmets, but Lawrence has passed an ordinance requiring children, ages 16 and under, to wear a helmet, but doesn't enforce penalties.
