Empty Laundry Detergent Bottle Drive
- on October 4, 2012
Throughout the month of October we are asking people in the community to donate their empty laundry detergent bottles to Heartland Community Health Center.
As a patient with diabetes, the disposals of insulin needles can be an expensive cost. So HCHC wants to help! A laundry detergent bottle is a hard plastic container and is considered a safe and cost-effective way for patients to dispose of their sharps.
HCHC will be giving out one empty laundry detergent bottle to our patients with diabetes as an example of ways the recycle their own hard plastic containers.
You can bring them to the HCHC front office located in the lower level of the Riverfront Plaza, near the intersection of 7th and New York. HCHC is opened Monday through Friday 9am-5pm.
Or if you are interested in collecting empty bottles at your workplace or organization, we can schedule a pick-up time!
