Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant job posting Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed to join a rapidly growing, recently funded Community Heath Center. The medical clinic currently employs two physicians and one Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker as medical providers.

HCHC exists to serve community members living below 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Level. We provide a medical home for our patients by offering accessible, continuous and compassionate care to ensure that all needs are met.

Services offered include a Diabetes Care and Prevention Program, Mental and Behavioral Health, Food Pantry, Early Detection Works Program, Wellness Program, Smoking Cessation Program and Rent and Utility Assistance.

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant must have:

  • Cultural competence and experience working with the underserved.

  • Five years (preferred) experience in a safety net or community health center setting.

  • Commitment to a mission-driven team that provides holistic, integrated, patient-centered care.

  • Strong organization, written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and clinical skills.

  • Commitment to meeting patient needs as well as impacting the health of the community as a whole.

APRN's will ensure the highest standards of care are provided for the patients and actively engage and serve with the leadership team.

Salary commensurate with experience and is based on a full-time 40 hour work week. Competitive compensation with excellent benefit package includes IRA, health insurances, malpractice, vacation and sick time, and a CME allowance. Student loan repayment available.
