Run/Walk Your First 5k

Nate Rovenstine, Pastor of Lawrence Wesleyan Church, is a guy who has competed in multiple marathons but is not a huge fun of competitive running. He believes that being healthy can be a fun experience, not just a competitive one. HCHC also believes that being healthy can be fun and it’s achievable for everyone.

Beginning Saturday, March 9th at 8:00am, Pastor Nate will lead training to prepare participants to complete the challenge of running/walking The Home Run 5k (3.1miles) on Memorial Day.

As a team, we will encourage each other, both spiritually and physically, to become a healthier person. Together we will set a goal to complete the 5k and together we will cross the finish line.

Whether you are a beginner runner or an experienced runner, we want you to join us in making health fun while helping those in the community of Lawrence!
