While Kenny & I were preparing the meal in the morning, we were pleasantly surprised to have 5 volunteers from the the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, Corrections Academy #3. Tony Istas, Andrew Haney, Ronna Crosby, Eric Hill and Loren Stone helped with the meal preparation, food storage clean-up, sweeping & moping, etc. All-in-all I had 6 volunteers here. We had a great time, well at least I did!
We served 98 people today.
Our Lunch was: Spaghetti with meat & sauce, salad with dressing, fresh cantalope, fresh apples, bread, grean beans, desserts and drinks.
