Dr. Michael Zabel will be available Feb. 2 to discuss heart disease — America’s No. 1 killer — in recognition of American Heart Month.
Zabel, of Cardiovascular Specialists of Lawrence, will be participating in an online chat at 10 a.m. on WellCommons.com. Zabel earned his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis in 1988. He completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiology at Duke University Medical Center.
Zabel is a clinical associate professor at the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine. He has done a variety of research on heart disease and treatments.
