Our Saturday workday was a huge success. We had a few surprises; spinach, cilantro, and even some carrots survived the winter. Just a little bit of Garden magic
All of the beds are ready for planting. The favorite tool of the day was this broadfork that TJ used to aerate the beds.
Using a broadfork is not only efficient, it's easy on your body, and it's fun! Actually, the whole day was fun!
We had over 30 volunteers out in the Garden, spreading fresh mulch and prepping our areas for blackberries, raspberries, and fruit trees.
Compost was delivered today to our two new Gardens at Hillcrest and Sunset Hill. Things are moving quickly on the Growing Food, Growing Health front. It's hard to keep up!
