   My primary doctor is excellent. I've been going to him for over 30 years now. He has basically "saved my life" more than once. I am very fortunate. His staff is also excellent. :)

   if you aren't giving your doctor an A you should probably be going to another doctor. i've been going to the same doctor for 25 plus years and i'm scared to death he will retire someday and i'll have to break in a new one

   Is there such a thing as a primary care doctor? When your sick you most likely will not be able to see your "family" doctor, just one that may be available. Doctors do not have the time to see you when you are sick, it takes 2 months to schedule a physical, no time to discuss any issue unless you grab them as they are walking out the door. It is apparent that money is the only thing they care about, the more people they can squeeze in a day the better it is for "them". When I was growing up, we had true "family" Doctors. Always available and always the same Doctor. They would get to know you and there was comfort when talking to them.

      Sounds like you need to find a new doctor. I have a wonderful primary care physician, who is very sharp.
