About Bob
I grew up in Kansas City, Kansas and moved to Lawrence in 1984 to work at Independence, Inc. As Advocacy Coordinator, I teach self advocacy to people with disabilities and work with them in the Access Task Force, a diverse group that advocates for changes in the community that are largely based on the Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Housing Act, independent living philosophy, and basic human rights and responsibilities. Also enjoy being with Lisa, friends, family, music, exercising and being outside.
