I am a Community Liaison for Douglas County Visiting Nurses, and I am currently working on my M.A. in psychology. In my spare time, I enjoy playing with my 3 year old son, Christian, and I also volunteer with Douglas County Special Olympics as their Medical Coordinator. My husband and I stay active by helping to coach soccer, volleyball, basketball, and track as well.

Zabel earned his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis in 1988. He completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiology at Duke University Medical Center.
